Steve Wozniak, Apple co-founder has praised Google’s Android smartphone operating system and predicted that android will soon exceed the iPhone OS in quantity and quality.
The comments of the man who invented the Mac computer came as Android phones are fast catching up with a market share of Apple’s iPhone.
“Apple’s phone still has some weaknesses,” Wozniak said newspaper De Telegraaf, the Netherlands, in an interview published Thursday.
“When it comes to quality, the iPhone is a leader.” But he acknowledged that “Android phones have more features” and provide more options for those who do not want to be limited to a single device.
In addition, Mr. Wozniak told the publication that eventually match the quality of the Android operating system and Apple is like Windows in the desktop space, Google’s mobile platform will become the “dominant” in the mobile market.
